TRACS is a secure cloud platform, designed to help those working with looked after children deliver better outcomes, by automatically scheduling, evidencing and prioritising the key activities to be completed.
TRACS promotes transparency of the care service plan; increasing time available for interventions and driving measurable outcomes; at the same time, empowering their journey into adulthood.
How We Can Help
Preparing looked after children for thriving in the community as adults, is a priority. To help professionals and care leavers achieve this, we have developed unique solutions that help to drive improved outcomes for those in their care.
Set backs can lead to young people remaining in supported accommodation longer than necessary; costing local government time and money that can be more effectively used on improving outcomes and services for young people.
Rather than actions being done to or for the looked after child, TRACS enables young people to work with care professionals and carers, who share their timeline. As per the recent care commission report, Local Authorities should remain primarily focused on the child; in terms of inclusion, transparency and empowerment.
The current Pathway Plan is reviewed firstly in 3 months then every 6 months; leaving scope for a number of changes and stumbling blocks that may not be picked up in ample time to avoid significant delays. TRACS has a clear accountability process with continuous updates that significantly reduces any gaps in the service.
